The Executive rooms have been fully renovated in 2008, which has made all of us at the hotel really happy, and are now the newest rooms of the Albany. Situated on Millswyn Street, one of South Yarra*s prettiest streets, they are serene and shrouded in wonderful light filtering through the trees outside. Their overhaul took them from 0 - 100 in one giant step and included brand new bathrooms, a funky new fashion meets rock and roll themed bedhead, flat screen tvs w/foxtel, on demand movies, high speed internet, fridge, coffee and tea stuff, amazingly comfortable beds and soft linen w/a high thread count. Try one, our guess is that you will request the same room for your second visit. - Mansion Rooms. . . Okay. . .now we*re talking. The Mansion Rooms are our suites and they are all located in our heritage listed Mansion. The 15 foot ceilings contribute to an amazing feeling of space. All have a fireplace, best not to light them, and some have gorgeous chandeliers. All of them have a sitting area, so you don*t have to entertain on your bed . . . unless of course that*s the idea. Throughout the room there is so much to do, raid the mini bar, log onto the high speed internet, watch Foxtel or an in-house movie on the largest flat screen tv*s in the hotel, make tea or coffee, do a spot of ironing or simply lie down on your really comfortable king bed and be smothered in the softest doona and pillows. So much to do, so little time. . .we don*t suggest you stay in one alone. . . - Rooms are nonsmoking but feel free to smoke in the areas provided.
