Hotel Jadran is located in Rijeka, Croatia, directly on the sea, within one kilometre of Rijeka city centre, five kilometres from historical Trsat and 20 kilometres from the coastal resort of Opatija.

Hotel Jadran was built in 1911 and is an impressive white stone building lapped by the Adriatic. Getting there.
Airport buses run into Rijeka city centre and cost 20 KN one way. Taxis are available from outside the airport.


Getting around. Orange buses in the city are run by Autotrolej. The central bus stops are at Jela?i?ev trg. They connect all of the major city centre areas with Trsat and other suburbs, plus resorts on the Opatija Riviera and Kvarner coast as well as inland destinations such as Kastav. Tickets can be bought from news kiosks and are valid for two trips. Stamp your ticket on entry to the bus. Tickets bought inside the bus are valid for one trip on any city route. Local ferries (trajektne linije) and passenger boats (brodske linije) run from Rijeka to the surrounding islands. Rijeka has a handful of reasonably priced minicab firms. There are taxi ranks outside the main train station, the coach station (also handy for the ferry) and on Matije Gupca, near the National Theatre.
