The Hotel Kieppi is a farmhouse-style, wooden ski lodge surrounded by fell country, set one kilometre from the piste and walking trails and 25 kilometres from Ivalo. Buses and taxis are available outside the airport. Taxi fares vary according to the number of people per group, but a trip to the hotel costs around 40 EUR. Getting around Saariselkä and surrounds is easiest by bus and train.
