Location.
The intimate, Art Deco Hotel Juana is located opposite a small pine grove in the centre of Juan-Les-Pins, on France's Cote d'Azur. The seafront is a block away and the Jardin Thuret ecological park is four blocks away. The Napoleonic Museum is two kilometres and Antibes is one-and-a-half kilometres from the hotel. Gould Pine Grove, home of the annual jazz festival, is a block away, and the railway station is four blocks from the hotel.

Hotel Features.
Built in 1931, Hotel Juana accommodated celebrities such as jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. The hotel was renovated in 2003 in a contemporary style sympathetic to the hotel's design, in dark-brown and cream tones with touches of crimson. Original Art Deco details include the wrought-iron lift.

In Hotel Juana's La Terrasse Club, modern Mediterranean dishes and wines are served overlooking the pine tree grove. Cooling drinks are available by the pool.

The hotel has business services and meeting space available, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge) in the lobby.

Beauty treatments (surcharge) are offered in the 24-hour fitness centre, which has a steam room and gym. The 10-metre outdoor pool, open seasonally, has a stone-paved terrace with chairs, tables and sun-loungers.

Expert Tip. A kilometre from the hotel is the Chateau Les Pins, former home of silent movie star Rudolph Valentino. Its eccentric exterior has to be seen to be believed.

Getting there.
Taxis from the airport are available to Juan-Les-Pins. There are additional fees for motorway tolls and extra luggage, and fares are more expensive at night. Gare St Augustin station is 500 metres from the terminals; trains run from here to Juan- Les-Pins railway station, four blocks from the hotel.


Getting around.
Hotel Juana is in central Juan-Les-Pins. Juan-Les-Pins is compact and can easily be explored on foot. Trains connect with many other French Riviera resorts.


Driving directions.
From Nice Cote d'Azur Airport: Take A8 toward Cannes. Take Antibes Exit. Follow signs to Antibes Center/Cap Antibes. Follow Boulevard Albert Ler until Chemin des Sables on right. After 400 metres follow sign for Le Cap Antibes at roundabout. The Hotel Juana is located on the left after 100 metres.
