Situated in the Alpine resort of Meribel-Mottaret, the Pierre et Vacances complex borders the pine forests and mountains of Vanoise National Park, 800 metres from Lac de Tueda. The 304 apartments are all built in traditional regional materials of stone, slate and wood and feature balconies, living rooms, private bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes with dishwashers and electric coffee machines. Two bed sheets and one pillowcase are provided per person per week. Televisions, telephones, towels, cleaning products and housekeeping are available for a fee. Guests have access to the onsite swimming pool and an indoor car park is available for guests' use (fee). The multilingual staff provide secretarial services and can help guests to choose their holiday itineraries. Babysitting is offered for a fee and there is a resort nursery for children aged 18 months to three years with activities arranged for older children. All communal areas are wheelchair accessible. The residence does not have its own restaurant, but there are several dining options within the surrounding area. The leisure centre, which is located four kilometres from the residence, offers an Olympic sized swimming pool and a range of fitness programs and relaxation facilities, such as aquaerobics and saunas. Guests can hike or bike to mountain lakes and glaciers in the area and introductory plane flights and paragliding courses are available. In addition there are more relaxing alternatives, such as fishing on Lac de Tueda. Geneva International Airport is 128 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 120 minutes and the nearest train station is Moûtiers which is 20 kilometres from the resort.

Reception opening hours: Monday to Thursday 8 AM to noon and 4 PM to 8 PM, Friday 8 PM to noon and 3 PM to midnight, Saturday 24 hours, Sunday midnight to 1 PM and 4 PM to 8 PM.

Please note: On arrival day, room keys can only be collected after 5 PM. Please notify the residence directly if you will be arriving after the reception is closed. Towels and television are not provided free of charge and can be hired locally.

Please note: Apartments do not receive a daily cleaning/maid service. On departure, all apartments should be left clean and tidy. Alternatively, an end of cleaning service is provided by the residence which incurs a fee payable locally. Guests can also purchase cleaning kits from reception.

Geneva railway station is 300 metres from the Departures and Arrivals floors of Geneva International Airport. Aero Ski Bus provides services from Geneva International Airport to many of the French ski stations. Connections by coach transfer or taxi are available from Moûtiers train station. Driving directions: From Paris, take the A43 motorway to Albertville and then the road to Moûtiers. From Moûtiers follow the D915 towards Brindes, then the D90 to Méribel. In Méribel-Mottaret there are three tunnels before the residence, which is on the right-hand side after the third tunnel.
