The Steigenberger Inselhotel Konstanz is a former Dominican monastery dating from 1236 and set in verdant parkland. It is located on an island on Lake Constance, eight kilometres from Reichenau Island. Trains are available from the airport to Constance train station and take approximately 90 minutes. The station is 500 metres from the hotel. Taxis are also available from the airport, take around one hour, and cost approximately 110 EUR. Driving directions from the airport: From the airport take the A7 highway in the direction of Kreuzlingen/ Constance. After the entering the town, follow the sign for the Bahnhof (Station). At the station, continue straight for 500 metres, the hotel is on the right.
