Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system. There is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. The town is best explored on foot, and it is advised to hire a car to see the surrounding area. Driving directions: From airport take the exit towards Holzhauser Strasse. At Berlin, turn left onto Holzhauser Strasse/U2. Continue and turn left onto A111/E26. Take the roundabout close to Oranienburg, then take the second exit and continue along B96/E251. Pass by Neustrelitz to Neubrandenburg.
