The family-run Hotel Josen has the eaved roofs and flowered wooden balconies that typify the Black Forest, and is situated eight kilometres from the town of Titisee. The Furtwangen Clock and Watch Museum is 11 kilometres from the hotel and the Feldberg Cable Car is 18 kilometres away. Neustadt railway station is six kilometres from the hotel. Basel Mulhouse Airport (BSL) is 100 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of two hours.

Getting there. Take a train from Basel to Freiburg then change for Titisee, which is 10 kilometres from the hotel. From there, taxis are available for the remainder of the journey.
