There are scheduled bus services from the airport to Padua, Mestre and Venice. Venice-Mestre railway station is connected to the airport by a bus service that runs every 20 minutes. The nearest train station is in Latisana, 25 kilometres from the hotel. Taxis are also available from the airport. The easiest way to get around the local area is on foot or by bike, although a car is recommended for visiting the surrounding Venetian countryside and for getting to Venice itself. In Venice the easiest way to travel is on foot or by vaporetto (public water bus) or water taxi. Driving directions: From the airport take highway A4 from Venice to Trieste, then the A23 from Tarvisio to Udine. At the tollgate for Latisana continue on, following the signs for Lignano. On arriving in Lignano follow signs for Bibione.
