Location.
The Hotel La Palma is located in the centre of Capri Town, on the Italian island of Capri. Close to the Piazzetta, the town's main square, and the picturesque Gardens of Augustus. The ruins of a Roman palace at Villa Jovis are 1.5 kilometres from the hotel, while the spectacular Grotta Azzura seashore cave is 3 kilometres away.

Hotel la Palma is said to be the oldest hotel on Capri, an ornate, whitewashed building displaying classic Italian architecture. The hotel takes it name from the ancient palm tree that grows nearby, and the property is surrounded by verdant gardens. Getting there.
Airport buses run to Naples train station, Piazza Municipio), and Sorrento. Taxis are available from the airport, and hydrofoils and ferries connect to the island of Capri from the port. The port is a few minutes from Piazza Umberto I by taxi or cable railway. The hotel is a short walk from there.


Getting around. The island can be explored on foot, by scooter, or by boat.
