Location.
The Sataru Resort is located in a peaceful valley three kilometres from the seaside village of Scopello, Sicily, and five kilometres from the resort of Castellammare del Golfo.

Hotel Features.
Surrounded by countryside, the Sataru Resort has been sympathetically converted from a traditional Sicilian home with a terracotta roof. Amenities include multilingual staff, a 24-hour front desk, and complimentary parking.

The Sataru Resort has a terrace restaurant surrounded by flowers and palm trees, serving traditional Sicilian dishes, fresh fish and homemade pizzas.

Scooters and bicycles can be rented at the Sataru Resort to explore the surrounding area. Water sports are available at the sea front, including sailing, water skiing and wind surfing. Horse riding is available in Castellammare del Golfo.


Guestrooms.
Each of the 10 air- conditioned guestrooms is furnished in a traditional Sicilian style with tiled floors and wooden beams. The rooms all have a private bathroom with shower, satellite television, minibar and hairdryer, and extend to a patio.


Expert Tip.
The name Castellammare del Golfo comes from the medieval fortress in the harbour. Castellammare itself was once the harbour for Segesta, one of the main towns of the Elymian people who inhabited Sicily in the Bronze Age.

Getting there.
Taxis are available at the airport and cost approximately 80 EUR to Castellammare del Golfo. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around.
Scooters and bicycles can be hired at the hotel for exploring the local area. A car is recommended for exploring more of Sicily.


Driving directions. From Palermo Airport: Take the highway towards Trapani. Take the Mazara del Vallo exit for Castellammare del Golfo. Follow the coast road. Take the third street on your left. Turn left towards Fraginesi. The hotel is 1 kilometer ahead on the right.
