Getting there.
Taxis to the villa cost approximately 20 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one-day pass for Florence's city buses. Bus 13 runs close to the hotel, stopping at Via Venti Settembre. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around.
Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station.


Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs for Centro della Città. Continue into Via di Novoli and then Viale Francensco Redi. Turn right into Biale Belfiore and then turn immediately left into Via Guido Monaco. After 300 metres, turn left into Viale Fratelli Rosselli. Continue straight on for approx. 700 metres until reaching signs for Careggi Hospital. Keep going straight on, crossing the little river, and then turn right into Via Venti Settembre. Continue straight for about 600 metres, then turn left into Via Nove Febbraio. After 100 metres, turn left into Via Francesco Puccinotti. Continue for 140 metres. Villa Antea is on the right.
