Once a fortified farm, the Messapia Hotel and Resort is housed in a historical stone building with panoramic views over Santa Maria di Leuca. The property is located 800 metres from the sea and 35 kilometres from Gallipoli. Brindisi-Casale Airport is 100 kilometres from the resort, an 80-minute drive.

The concierge can organise guided excursions and transfers to and from the airport, and the Messapia Hotel and Resort also offers a shuttle bus to and from the town centre. The Messapia Restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes, specialising in locally caught seafood, set under ancient stone archways overlooking the pool. Alternatively the Roof Garden Restaurant offers meals with panoramic views, and Bar Pizzeria serves a selection of drinks and pizzas.

Driving Directions

Getting there.
The hotel offers a transfer service for a fee. During the summer months coach services run to Marina Di Leuca. Cars are available to rent at the airport. A taxi direct to the hotel will cost approximately 100 EUR.


Driving directions. From the airport take the highway SS16 (Brindisi Lecce). Continue along the highway SS274 (Lecce Gallipoli) and then the SS275 (Gallipoli Santa Maria di Leuca).
