From Palermo Airport (PMO):
Distance to Hotel Villa Romana is 150 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive.


Getting there.
Trains run every 20-60 minutes from the airport to Palermo's central station (Stazione Centrale). Single tickets cost 4.50 EUR. A bus runs to Stazione Central and single tickets cost 5 EUR. There are also bus services to Agrigento, five kilometres from Porto Empedocle. Taxis are available and cost approximately 120 EUR to the hotel. Hotel Villa Romana offers airport transport for a surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around.
Porto Empedocle is easily explored on foot. A ferry connects the port to Lampedusa and Linosa. Local buses run to and from Agrigento. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.


Driving directions.
From Palermo Airport.
Take the A20 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo freeway and exit at Castelvetrano onto the SS115.
Follow signs towards Agrigento.
Five kilometres before Agrigento, take the Porto Empedocle exit.
Follow SS115 to the beach area (Lidi) and Via Nettuno.
