Location.
The historic Hotel Garden is located in Siena, Italy, within one kilometre of the city centre. It is six kilometres from the famous Medici Fortress market and 16th-century Fortezza Medicea.

Hotel Features.
Hotel Garden is a traditional three-storey Tuscan Villa set in elegant gardens with a large terrace. Inside, much of the hotel retains its traditional style with marble floors and elaborate painted ceilings. Multilingual concierge staff at the 24- hour front desk can provide sightseeing advice and information. There is complimentary onsite parking.

Getting there.
Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR-16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR, and the price includes a one-day pass for Florence's city buses. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around.
The Hotel Garden is on Via Custoza in Siena. Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre, and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time, and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station. Complimentary onsite parking is available.


Driving directions.
From Florence Vespucci Airport:
Follow the signs for A1 Rome.
Exit at Florence Certosa.
After the tollbooth take Superstrada Siena-Firenze and exit at 'Siena Nord'.
Follow directions for the town centre. The Garden Hotel is located after the second traffic lights on the right-hand side.
