Getting there.
Taxis to central Milan cost about 65-75 EUR. The Malpensa Express train runs every 30 minutes between the airport's train station and the city centre (Cadorna station). Single tickets are approximately 9 EUR, and journey time is 40 minutes. The Malpensa shuttle bus runs to Stazione Centrale (central station) every 20 minutes. The fare is 4.50 EUR and journey time is 20 minutes. From central Milan, trains run to Stresa train station, which is 800 metres from Hotel da Cesare. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around. Stresa is easily explored on foot and the area is serviced by both trains and buses. A car is recommended for exploring the surrounding countryside.
