The Hotel Grimaldi is located in the historical centre of Treia, Italy, within 50 metres of the archaeological museum and 100 metres from the churches of S. Chiara and San Francesco.

The Hotel Grimaldi is housed in a Renaissance palace, which includes the antique monastery of Filipini, providing views over the hills and mountains of Le Marche with the sea in the distance.

Getting there.
Taxis are available for trips into Ancona and beyond. There are regular shuttle bus and train services into the centre of Ancona. From Ancona railway station a train runs to Macerata, the nearest city to Treia. For the remaining 20 kilometres to the hotel, a journey by taxi is recommended. Hotel Grimaldi offers airport transport at a surcharge.


Getting around. The best way to explore Treia is on foot, as the historical centre has narrow streets and few parking spaces. For excursions into the surrounding countryside, to nearby towns or to the seaside a car is the best option.
