A bus service operates from the airport to central Osaka, and costs around JPY 1,300 one way. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost approximately JPY 15,000. Other transport options include limousine bus, ferry, shuttle bus and passenger train, but the most convenient is the Nankai Railways Rapito, a bullet-train that takes only 29 minutes. The subway system is colour coded and easy to use. A prepaid day card is available for unlimited subway and city bus travel. Private and JR train lines also run through town. There is also a sightseeing bus, with a range of different tours available, which leaves from Umeda train station. Osaka also operates a range of ferries and sightseeing cruises around its bay.
