Location.
The Kuramathi Blue Lagoon is a luxury resort comprised of traditional Maldivian wooden residences with coconut-thatched roofs built on a narrow sandbank surrounded by crystal clear waters of Kuramathi's Lagoon; an All-Inclusive option is available. The half-board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast and dinner each day. The full-board room rate incorporates buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The All-Inclusive room rate incorporates buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with table wine, water and soft drinks included, late continental breakfast, snacks from 10 AM to noon and from 9 PM to midnight, afternoon coffee and cakes, and drinks at the bars from 10 AM to midnight including local spirits, beer, non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Male International Airport is 16 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Hotel Features.
The sports centre has a freshwater swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a steam room and a spa tub. Relaxing treatments from European and Eastern traditions are offered at the Kuramathi Spa with a range of exotic beauty therapies and massage treatments. The hotel's open-air disco is right on the beach and live local music, karaoke and entertainment can be enjoyed at different locations on the resort. There is also a bar fashioned from a traditional Maldivian boat, and the front desk is open 24-hours a day.

The resort's five restaurants also include a Thai and Indian Restaurant, a candlelit grill restaurant overlooking the sea and a main buffet-style restaurant which features a changing themed buffet. There are also a number of coffee shops featuring traditional Maldivian design and palm- tree shaded terraces.

The water sports centre has facilities for windsurfing, sailing, catamaran sailing, glass bottom boat trips, water skiing and banana boats trips. There is also a scuba diving school, a floodlit tennis court, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and a football pitch.
Mandatory transfers. As the hotel is located on a different island to the airport, guests must organise a transfer from Male International Airport to the property. To do this, you will need to contact the property directly with your flight details at least 48 hours before travel. Once you have booked your accommodation, we will give you the contact phone number on your booking confirmation. The property's transfer service costs 150 USD per person return. Getting there. The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by speedboat transfer. Kuramathi island is easily explored on foot. The only way to get around the islands is by boat.
