Location.
The Palace is located in Sliema, Malta, next to the historic 18th-century Capua Palace. Nestled in the tight warren of streets that characterises central Sliema, the hotel is 300 metres from the seafront and 500 metres from the main shopping area.

The Palace has several dining options. The Talk of the Town cafe has a street terrace next to Capua Palace serving a fusion of European and Asian food. Expert Tip.
Sliema means 'peace, comfort'. The town got its name from an ancient church dedicated to the Virgin Mary which was rebuilt in 1855. A town-wide feast is held in August to celebrate the legacy of the Virgin Mary.

Getting there.
Fixed rate taxis run between the airport and towns across the island. The fare is approximately 9 MTL.


Getting around. A network of buses connects Malta to the main resorts. A day bus pass costs 1.50 MTL. A car is recommended for exploring further afield. Gozo is easily explored by bicycle, on foot, or on bus. High-speed catamarans and ferries operate between Gozo and Malta (Valletta).
