The St George's Park and La Vallette hotels are large, modern neighbouring complexes, located 500 metres from St George's Bay beach and four kilometres from Valletta, the Maltese capital. The hotels are close to several attractions, including a concentration of nightlife at Paceville, 100 metres away. The sandy beach at St George's Bay is within 500 metres, and the capital city of Valletta is four kilometres away. Malta International Airport is 11 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes. There is a full fixed-fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall, where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Alternatively, bus no. 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta, just four kilometres from the hotel, and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall. St Julians is compact and is best explored on foot, although a hired scooter can be useful, particularly for venturing further afield on the island.
