Situated on a natural private peninsula of white sand beaches with a clear blue lagoon, Le Preskil Beach Resort is built in a Creole architectural style and set in 3.5 hectares of tropical gardens, 20 kilometres from Mauritius Airport. The 200 air-conditioned guestrooms spread are throughout colourful one-storey buildings across the peninsula. All have a light tropical decor with tiled floors, light wood furnishings and colourful pineapple print fabrics. The sitting areas have sofas and desks and lead to furnished balconies or terraces with sea views. Amenities include satellite TV, direct-dial phones, Internet connections, minibars, safes, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities. All- Inclusive and half board room rates are offered. For dining, there are two buffet restaurants serving local and international dishes, a poolside grill and a seafood grill located directly on the beach. There is also a cocktail bar. Guests can spend lazy days on the beach or by one of the two swimming pools, or unwind in the open air hot tub and enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean. Children have their own mini-club (ages four to 12 years old), kids' pool and playground and for parents there is a babysitting service. Facilities include six massage rooms, Japanese baths, two steam rooms and a fitness room (surcharge). Guests enjoy free use of two floodlit tennis courts, beach volleyball, table tennis and indoor electronic games. At the hotel's private beach free activities include waterskiing, windsurfing, pedal boats, canoeing and a glass bottom boat. The hotel has a diving centre and excursions available include deep sea fishing, catamaran and speedboat cruises, and trips with a local fisherman (surcharges apply). Driving Directions

Taxis are readily available from outside the airport terminal and should cost approximately 500,00 MUR (around 14 EUR). Buses and ground operators also offer transportation. Bicycles, taxis, local buses and hire cars are a good way to get around the island. Driving directions: From the airport - Follow signs for Mahebourg and then follow the signposts for the hotel along the way.
