The environmentally-friendly lodge is constructed from wood and other jungle materials with mosquito netting around all public areas. An enclosed generator is used for short periods during the morning and evening hours and the lodge is lit with kerosene lamps at night. Purified water is imported from nearby Iquitos and is available at all times. The Heliconia Restaurant & Bar serves International food as well as traditional Peruvian jungle-style cuisine.
