The Acajou Hotel is a villa-style resort set in tropical gardens directly on Praslin Island's longest beach, four kilometres from Valle de Mai. Local DMC buses or minibuses can be taken from the airport to the hotel. Taxis can be also taken and typically cost approximately €15-20. A car is recommended for independently exploring the island. Cycling is also a good way to get around.
