Location.
The Hotel Hanakuk is located in Maribor, Slovenia, eight kilometres from the city centre and 10 kilometres from the train station and Maribor Airport.

Hotel Features.
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the Pohorje Mountain range, where the Pohorje skiing slopes are found, beneath the wooded Pohorje plateau. At the property, guests can enjoy the hotel's swimming pools or indulge in a facial or body treatment in the hotels beauty centre.

From Ljubljana Airport (LJU):
Distance to Hotel Habakuk is 60 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive. Distance to Maribor Airport is 10 kilometres, approximately 10 minutes drive.


Getting there.
Frequent buses run from the airport to central Ljubljana, and single tickets cost 4.20 EUR. Taxis to central Ljubljana cost approximately 8,000 SIT (35 EUR). A taxi can be taken from Maribor airport for around 20 EUR, or from Ljubljana for around 65 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around. Ljubljana's public bus service is efficient and cheap. Regular trains run from Ljubljana train station to many of the region's towns. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding countryside. Bicycles and horses can be hired at the hotel to explore the local countryside.
