Frequent underground metro services connect the airport with Madrid city centre. Take the underground line 8 from the airport to Columbia station and change to line 9 to La Poveda Staion (two kilometres from the hotel). Taxis are available from the airport and the blue airport bus departs every 15 minutes for the underground bus terminal at Plaza de Colón in central Madrid. A taxi to the hotel costs approximately 30 EUR. Madrid's extensive metro and public bus systems provide an efficient and cheap way of getting around the city. Taxis are moderately priced and can be hailed in the street.
