Hotel Top Amaika is a large modern hotel with an ornate Titanic-inspired interior and located just one block from the sandy beach, and one kilometre from Calella train station. The 228 air-conditioned guestrooms have light, modern décor with coordinated fabrics. From Barcelona Airport, a typical taxi fare will cost 75 EUR. Direct trains run from the airport to Calella; travel time is approximately 105 minutes and cost 4 EUR; alternatively buses are available and travelling time will be approximately 95 minutes and cost 5 EUR. Calella train station is one kilometre from the hotel, for direct links to Barcelona and other towns along the coast, although a hire car is useful for exploring the surrounding region. Driving directions: From Girona airport follow the N-11 in direction of Barcelona, until you reach Calella. From Barcelona airport, follow the AP-7 highway in the direction of Girona, when you reach Granollers take the freeway, direction Mataro on the C-32 highway to Calella. Exit highway and take the N-11 direction Barcelona.
