The Gran Hotel Costa Meloneras is a palatial hotel designed in a colonial style, with seven themed courtyards, eight towers with views over the island and is set in palm tree-filled gardens with. It is located on the beachfront, 800 metres from the Maspalomas Lighthouse. The 1136 guestrooms feature contemporary decor in warm colours with modern furniture. The best way to reach the hotel vicinity from the airport is by taxi, which costs around 30 EUR. Driving directions: From the airport, take the highway to the south of the island, following the directions for Maspalomas.
