Location.
Palacio Urgoiti is a reconstructed stone palace which dates back to the 1600s and set in 11-acre grounds that include a golf course. It is 12 kilometres from Bilbao city centre and the renowned Guggenheim Museum, and Plentzia and Bakio beaches. Bilbao Airport (BIO) is four kilometres away.

Hotel Features.

Expert Tip. Although the hotel dates back to the 17th century, the building is actually a complete reconstruction. It was taken down stone by stone after the land it stood on was confiscated, and rebuilt in 2004 with its original layout, using many original decorative elements including the doors.

Driving Directions

Getting there.
Guests can travel to the hotel by taxi or bus. Buses run to the centre of Bilbao once every half hour.
Driving directions: From the airport: Head for the B631 highway and follow signs to Mungia- Bermeo. After two kilometres, exit at Artebakarra - Laukariz and take the right turn towards Laukariz. After approximately 500 metres, Palacio Urgoiti will be visible on the left at the top of the hill. At the roundabout, take the left turn to arrive at the hotel.
