Location.
Gran Melia Volcan Lanzarote is located in Playa Blanca de Yiaza, Lanzarote, Spain, 795 metres from Playa Blanca Beach, 900 metres from the main village, and 10 kilometres from Timanfaya National Park.

Hotel Features.
The hotel is designed to mimic one of the island's traditional villages, with piazzas, patios, and fountains. It has a marina which offers sailing and windsurfing lessons, catamaran excursions, and a diving school. The hotel's four swimming pools are surrounded by extensive gardens and terraces with sunloungers. The wellness centre offers a variety of treatments and facilities, including a massage treatment room, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, sauna, and hair salon.

Gran Melia Volcan Lanzarote offers four restaurants including a Japanese restaurant which serves a variety of Asian dishes for lunch and dinner and has views of the marina and Playa Blanca fishing village. Getting there.
Taxis to the hotel depart outside the airport by the Arrivals building. The average fare to the hotel is 35-40 EUR. The number 4 bus runs to and from Arrecife bus terminal on average every 30 minutes, Monday to Saturday, until approximately 7 P.M. A single ticket costs around 2 EUR. All prices are subject to change.


Getting around. The main tourist destinations are easily accessible by cheap and efficient bus services. Alternatively, taxis can be booked over the phone or hailed by the roadside. A hire car is recommended for those who wish to explore the island.
