Bus services from the airport depart from outside the Arrivals halls of zones A and C. There is a bus stop 100 metres from the apartment complex. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals areas. There are plenty of cheap, metered taxis available in Playa del Ingles. The island also has good bus services which operate around the resorts and to all the main towns; there is nowhere on the island that takes much longer than an hour to get to by bus. Hire cars are popular with visitors wanting to explore the north of the island. Driving directions: From the airport: Take highway GC-1 and head southbound. Exit the highway at the sign for Playa de Las Burras and head for Playa del Ingles. Take the first street on the right (Italia Street number 5).
