Location.
As its name suggests, the Hotel Chalet Swiss is a typical Swiss-style building set in ornamental gardens and overlooks the impressive Jungfrau mountain. It is located 600 metres from the centre of Interlaken and 700 metres from Lakes Thun and Brienz. Zurich Airport is 200 kilometres away and the journey takes around two hours by car.

Hotel Features.
Guests are offered a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning, and access to the sauna, hot tub, bicycle rentals and secure parking are also included in guestroom rates. The Hotel Chalet Swiss has a ski storage and elevator to all four floors, as well as a playroom for younger guests. Concierge services can advise on the ski shuttle service and arrange tours to the Jungfrau mountain.

Dinner is served in the Hotel Chalet Swiss restaurant with a menu of European and local Swiss dishes; guests can enjoy before or after-dinner drinks in Bar Extravagancy which features floor-to-ceiling windows.

Getting there.
The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways station located under Terminal B, with trains running to Interlaken approximately every hour. Interlaken West station is 600 metres from the hotel. Taxis can be found outside terminals A and B; fare to Zurich city centre is approximately 50 CHF (EUR 35). The bus terminal is located adjacent to car park B; ten regular bus lines serve regional towns and villages. Interlaken centre can be reached on foot and a shuttle service runs regularly from the hotel. A hire car is recommended for travelling further afield.


Driving directions. From Zurich Airport, take motorway A1 over Lake Thun to Interlaken.
