The Sorell Hotel and Zunfthaus zum Rüden is located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, one kilometre from the old town, three kilometres from the Rhein Falls and 15 kilometres from Stein am Rhein. It is 100 metres from Schaffhausen's main railway station.

From Zurich Airport (ZRH):
Distance to Zunfthaus zum Rüden is 60 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.


Getting there.
The airport's Swiss Federal Railways Station is located beneath terminal B. S2 and S16 trains run every 10 minutes to Zurich city centre at peak times. The journey time is about 10 minutes and single tickets cost 5.80 CHF. Trains run from here to Schaffhausen's main railway station, which is 100 metres from the hotel. Taxis wait outside Arrivals, and cost approximately 150 CHF to the hotel. There is a bus terminal next to car park B, with 11 bus lines running to towns and villages across the region. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around. The Old Town is best seen on foot. There is an effective bus network which runs to nearby tourist attractions, such as the Rhein Falls, but to see more of the area, it's a good idea to rent a car.
