The Goldenes Schwert is a gay-friendly modern hotel situated in the heart of Zurich's old town, within 500 metres of the Lake and Fraumunster Church. The airport has a Swiss Federal Railways Station located under Terminal B, with trains to central Zurich connecting by Tram Line 4 to Rathaus Station, 500 metres from the hotel. Taxis can be found outside terminals A and B. The hotel also offers an airport shuttle bus service for a surcharge. The centre of Zurich can be explored on foot, and the network of trams and buses provide a cheap, reliable service. Driving directions: From the airport take the highway and follow signs for Zurich, then Central Place, Seilergraben, Hirschengraben, Kirchgasse, Munstergasse and Marktgasse, where the hotel is located.
