Getting there.
Taxis are available directly to the George Hotel and cost about 35 GBP. Manchester Airport train station is linked to all terminals by a moving walkway. Every hour, up to six trains leave the airport for Manchester Piccadilly station in central Manchester. A single ticket costs 2.65 GBP, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. From Manchester train station, take a train to Stoke-on- Trent. From Stoke-on-Trent, taxis are readily available and cost about 6 GBP to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around.
The town of Burslem is compact and easily explored on foot. Stoke-on-Trent operates pink, white, and blue buses throughout the area. Cycling is popular for exploring the area.

At Junction 7, exit onto A556/Chester Rd towards B'ham/M6/Northwich.
Go through one roundabout and merge onto the M6 via B'Ham.
At Junction 16 take the A500 North exit to Newcastle-u- Lyme/Stoke.
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto A500 North heading to Stoke on Trent.
Take the A527 exit.
At the roundabout, take the second exit onto A527/Porthill Rd.
Continue on the A527.
At the roundabout, take the second exit onto B5051/Newcaste St, and follow Newcastle St.
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto B5051/Newcastle St. and follow the B5051.
Turn right at A50/Swan Square.
