The area can be explored easily by foot, and Huddersfield train station is 3.5 miles from The Old Golf House Hotel, which runs to the Leeds and Bradford stations. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding countryside.


Driving directions.Depart Leeds/Bradford Airport. At M62 West (Leeds) exit at Junction 23. At the first roundabout take the first exit signposted A640 to Rochdale. At the second roundabout take the third exit signposted Outlane. Continue for approximately half a mile. The Old Golf House Hotel is located on the left-hand side.
