Getting there.
A free Skyrail monorail runs every couple of minutes from Terminal 1 to Birmingham's International train station. From here, trains run to Moreton on Marsh train station, from where taxis are available to the hotel. Black cabs are available 24-hours a day from an official rank in front of the airport passenger terminals. The fare to Washbourne Court is 60 GBP. Buses link the surrounding areas to the airport. Getting around.
The village of Lower Slaughter is compact and best explored on foot. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.


Driving directions.
From Birmingham International Airport.
Leave the airport and join the B4438, sign posted Coventry, Birmingham, A4, Solihull.
From the B4438 join the A45.
From the A45, join the M42, signposted 'southwest'.
At junction 3A, branch left, following signs to London to join the M40.
At junction 15, leave the motorway and at the roundabout take the fourth exit, A429, signposted Cirencester.
Stay on the A429 through to Morton on the Marsh and Stow on the Wold.
At the sign for the 'Roman Court Hotel' turn left and follow the road.
Junction for the Slaughters is on the right, which will lead into the village centre.
