Location.
The Beaches Hotel is located in Prestatyn, North Wales, directly across from Barkby Beach. Overlooking the town's championship golf course on one side, and with views of the Irish Sea on the other, the hotel is superbly located for outdoor leisure and relaxation. Prestatyn train station is one mile away.

Hotel Features.
Rebuilt in the 1990s, the Beaches Hotel was originally a yacht club incorporating the sea wall. It is now a seaside guesthouse with elegant touches such as pillars and glass display cases in the lobby. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, spa, and fitness room.

Beaches Hotel serves a complimentary full Welsh breakfast at the Captain's Table restaurant, which has a view of the beach. The Dunes Lounge Bar also has a Sunday carvery and pub food menu, with a satellite television showing major sporting fixtures.

There are several small meeting rooms and a larger banqueting space, with a packed-lunch service, complimentary wireless Internet access, and other business services available.

In addition to the onsite facilities, horse- riding, sailing, and cycling are available nearby.

Distance to Beaches Hotel is 45 miles, approximately 50 minutes' drive.


Getting there.
Manchester Airport train station is linked to all terminals by a moving walkway. Every hour, up to six trains leave the airport for Manchester Piccadilly station in central Manchester. A single ticket costs 2.65 GBP, and the journey takes about 20 minutes. From here, connections can be made to Prestatyn. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around.Prestatyn's seafront is easily explored on foot, but a car is recommended for trips into Wales and Chester.
