Location.
The Rye Lodge is a clifftop boutique hotel located in the centre of Rye, England. The hotel is 400 metres from Rye's historic quarter, three miles from Camber Sands beach, and 11 miles from the site of the Battle of Hastings. Rye train station is 200 metres from the hotel.

Getting there.
The Gatwick Express train departs from the airport and travels to London Victoria Station every 15 minutes, and travel time is 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 14 GBP. From Victoria, trains to Rye are every hour, with a change at Brighton station. Journeys take approximately 150 minutes and cost 22 GBP. Rye train station is 200 metres from the hotel. Getting around. Rye is best explored on foot, but bicycle rental is available nearby. There is also a convenient bus network for Rye and the whole of East Sussex.
