The Protea Hotel Safari Lodge is located in a private game reserve in Chisamba, Zambia, 55 kilometres from Lusaka city centre. Lusaka International Airport is 65 kilometres from the hotel.

Hotel Features.
Set within gardens on a private game reserve, the Protea Hotel Safari Lodge comprises individual thatched chalets. The lodge's grounds feature an outdoor pool complete with a tree- shaded terrace. Game drives can be arranged on request and the hotel also features its own lion enclosure. Other amenities include complimentary wireless Internet in public areas, a safe-deposit box and complimentary onsite parking.

The Mutete Restaurant at the Protea Safari Lodge is an open-sided thatched building set overlooking the gardens, swimming pool, and lake. It offers a complimentary buffet breakfast every morning, and international dishes are served for lunch and dinner. The Kapinga Bar is situated within a grass-walled boma area and serves local and international beers and liqueurs. Meals can also be served on the terrace.

From Lusaka Airport, take the Great East Road to Lusaka
Continue to the Kabwe roundabout.
Take the third exit onto the Great North Road.
Continue for 35 kilometres and then follow signs for the Protea Hotel Safari Lodge, off to the right.
